Hey there! I’m Izzie!
Actually, my name is Isabella, but everybody calls me Izzie. I’m an illustrator and maker of whimsical, heartfelt things, located in Pasadena, CA.
I graduated from the University of La Verne with a Bachelor’s in Studio Art and have a strong background in painting and drawing. I love to work in watercolor, soft pastel, and graphite. I also create digital illustrations, comics, and short animations.
I love bringing ideas to life visually and at any scale. From pocket-sized zines to limo-length murals, I jump at the opportunity to let what’s in our imagination come to reality.
Over the past 9 years, I’ve also worked closely with kids alongside my art practice. Coincidentally, a lot of my work is rooted in connecting with children and the inner child. I’m drawn to silly characters, visual wordplay, and artwork that feels handmade and full of personality.
When I’m not drawing, I’m usually rewatching my favorite animated movies or adding to my ever-growing collection of paper scraps for my junk journal.
